We are reaching out to support a very special young boy, Sawyer, who was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Managing this condition is a daily challenge, requiring constant monitoring of blood sugar levels, careful planning, and vigilance. A service dog trained to detect blood sugar changes would be life-changing for Sawyer, providing him with both safety and independence.

These specially trained dogs can alert him or his family to dangerous blood sugar fluctuations, even while he’s sleeping, helping prevent life-threatening situations and giving him more freedom to simply enjoy being a kid. However, the cost of a service dog is significant, and we’re asking for your help.
